The Role:

Do you have a passion for creating great products that have the potential to be used by millions of people? Are you an enthusiast programmer who enjoys creating user friendly applications? Heiler is looking for Java Developers to join our Heiler Print Manager Team in Detroit, MI.

We are hiring Java Software Engineers with a passion for building applications in the print media area. We are looking for well-rounded developers who know how to create robust and user friendly applications. You should have a good understanding of, and practical experience with, Java application development.






Requirements: 
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or an equivalent with good scholastic records.
  • 2 to 3 years of software development experience.
  • Strong Java skills and object oriented design and development experience, including a working knowledge of the core JDK and design patterns.
  • Eclipse hacking is a plus, especially knowledge of plug-ins.
  • DTP know-how is a plus.
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies desired.
  • Strong creative problem solving and collaboration skills and the ability to work well within an international team preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
